Dr. Adrain B. Johnson
Dr. Adrain B. Johnson, a graduate of Tarleton State University and Baylor University began his career as a teacher at the Travis State School. As a teacher, Dr. Johnson’s primary focus was to provide children with positive nurturing learning environments; allowing them to experience the world with vigor and excitement. Dr. Johnson quickly embraced his “new passion”, the passion of teaching children. As his childhood dream of becoming a professional basketball player diminished, his dedication to educating children increased.
Dr. Johnson has experienced a successful twenty-eight year career in education; of which he pays tribute to both his parents for instilling in him a strong work ethic, high expectations and innovative thinking abilities. Dr. Johnson’s parents, Emma Mae Johnson and Lee Roy Johnson, were both employed in Frost Independent School District where he attended school in his primary, intermediate, and high school years. Emma and Lee Roy Johnson were extremely proud of Adrain upon the completion of his under- graduate work at Tarleton State University and his doctorate studies at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson continue to be supportive of his professional growth and development.
