The 83rd Legislative Session is in full swing and now is your opportunity to be involved! Texas PTA encourages all of our members to attend Rally Day at the Capitol to learn how to best lobby your legislators to benefit all children in Texas! Save the date, and we’ll see you in Austin!

*T-shirts and materials available at church until 11:30 for all registrants. Please plan to arrive in time to pick up your materials.

9:30 am – 11:10 am           Dome Watchers’ Legislative Caucus (more information below)

11:10 am – 1:30 pm           Meetings with your legislators and lunch on your own

1:30 pm – 2:00 pm             Rally on the South Steps of Capitol

2:00 pm – 5:00 pm             Meetings with your legislators
                                 Participants will receive an evaluation to report legislative visits.

The goal of this two-hour caucus is to ensure PTA members are prepared, not just the day's activities, but prepared to return to their respective communities comfortable with advocacy and well-versed on issues critical to student success being debated by the 83rd Texas Legislature.
