Summer Leadership Seminar
You're Invited!
It's time to Be PTA! and make plans to attend one of our Summer Leadership Seminar events this summer! You will learn all that you need to focus on the work of your PTA and prepare for a successful year. Summer Leadership Seminar provides the greatest opportunities for training, networking, and resources with nearly 150 workshops to help you feel confident in your role as an active parent and PTA volunteer. This year, the Texas PTA Annual Convention will be held in conjunction with Summer Leadership Seminar in Dallas on Friday, July 19. Your PTA members and leaders have no better opportunity than Summer Leadership Seminar to help ensure the future success of your PTA. So join us, and Be PTA!

We are excited to host four seminars this year, taking SLS On the Road to Lubbock, El Paso, and South Padre along with our largest conference in Dallas. Registration deadlines, hotel information, and event details will be found by clicking on each location. See you this summer!
Financial Assistance
Limited scholarship opportunities are available to assist Local and Council PTAs with Summer Leadership Seminar expenses. To apply for this needs-based assistance, complete the Financial Assistance Application and submit to Texas PTA no later than June 10, 2013. PTAs that apply for assistance, but not awarded, will be eligible for to register for any SLS event at the Discounted Registration rate. Financial Assistance Applications are valid for any of the Summer Leadership Seminar locations.
