If you are not currently a member, and would like to become one, please consider joining Star Spangled PTA, call 1.800.TALK.PTA or find your local PTA Web site at www.txpta.org/lpta.html.

PTA dues are used to maintain this Web site and provide service to our members. As you know, most membership groups (newspapers, magazines, associations, etc.) require some sort of password or registration to access the benefits they provide, so although using a password is an additional step, we hope you understand that it increases the benefits we can provide you online. Benefits of Belonging to Texas PTA

  1. Maintains state headquarters with a staff available for assistance and direction for Local PTA officers and members at: 1.800.TALK PTA; the Texas PTA Web site, www.txpta.org; or by writing Texas PTA, 408 W 11th Street, Austin, TX 78701-2113.
  2. Provides leadership training through seminars, workshops, conferences, summer leadership seminar and PTA Day at the Capitol (look under the Events pull-down menu and on your Area PTA Web site).
  3. Publishes various materials available to Local PTAs: The Voice,Texas PTA Handbook, Flash Facts, Chairmen’s Guides, membership promotions, Local PTA mailings and program resources. Many of these are available on the Web site (use appropriate links above - you will need your username and password).
