Texas PTA recognizes outstanding membership recruiting efforts. Many awards are automatically calculated based on the PTA's membership totals as recorded on October 15 and March 15. The Membership nomination form is used to apply for any awards not calculated automatically by the Texas PTA Office.

SUMMER AWARD

  • Head Start Award
    Current winners
    Presented to all PTAs that get a jump on the new school year by recruiting and reporting at least 50 additional members between April 1 and August 31. Award form must be submitted.

FALL AWARDS

  • Early Bird Achievement
    Presented to each local PTA that submits membership dues and a membership list for 75 percent of its previous March 15 membership total to the Texas PTA office postmarked by September 30.  Membership reporting begins April 1 of the current year. No form to submit.

  • 500 Club Achievement
    Presented to each local PTA that submits membership dues and a membership list for 500 or more members to the Texas PTA office postmarked by October 15th. No form to submit.

  • 1000 Club Achievement
    Presented to each local PTA that submits membership dues and a membership list for 1000 or more members to the Texas PTA office postmarked by October 15th. No form to submit.

WINTER AWARD

Congratulations to the 950 PTAs that earned the Texas PTA Winter Membership Increase Award! Thank you for your efforts in recruiting members to support the mission of PTA to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children!

  • Membership Increase Award
    Presented to each local PTA with a membership increase on December 1 as compared to the previous year’s December 1 total.  Totals are based on the records maintained by Texas PTA.  No form to submit.

SPRING/SCHOOL-YEAR AWARDS

  • NEW Lucky PTA Promotion - Ends April 30
    Recruit 10 new members in April and submit the entry form below with your dues report, roster form, and dues payment by April 30.  Check out the flier below to see what you can win!
  • Silver Award
    Presented to all PTAs that recruit and report membership totals equaling at least 50% of the school’s student enrollment by the Spring award deadline of March 15. Award form must be submitted.
  • Gold Award
    Presented to all PTAs that recruit and report membership totals equaling at least 75% of the school’s student enrollment by the Spring award deadline of March 15. Award form must be submitted.
  • Platinum Award
    Highest membership award presented to all PTAs that recruit and report membership totals equaling 100% or more of the school’s student enrollment by the Spring award deadline of March 15. Award form must be submitted.
  • Golden Apple Award
    Presented to all PTAs that recruit and report 100% of school faculty as members by the Spring award deadline of March 15. Texas PTA’s definition of faculty is: principals, assistant principals, teachers, counselors, and aides employed at the campus full time. Award form must be submitted.
  • Community Partner Award
    Presented to all PTAs that recruit and report 25 or more community members by the Spring award deadline of March 15. Award form must be submitted.
  • Student Membership Achievement
    Presented to all PTAs that recruit and report 25 or more student members by the Spring award deadline of March 15.  Award from must be submitted.
  • Student Involvement Award
    Presented to all PTSAs that elect or appoint students to the PTSA Board.  Award form must be submitted.
  • Texas STAR Award
    Presented to all PTAs that have a President on record at Texas PTA, were active by October 15, have updated bylaws within the last 5 years and increased membership by March 15.  No form to submit.

  • 9th Grade/Freshman Orientation 

 Any due dates falling on a holiday or weekend will be extended to the next business day.
