The Texas Parent Teacher Association (PTA) believes that PTA membership is for everyone interested in the education, health, safety and welfare of children. Membership dues are only $11.00 per year. Each member will receive a membership card. Star Spangled PTA members meet once a year at the Texas PTA state convention. As a member, you will receive access to information and training opportunities that will encourage and prepare you to speak out, inform and educate others about issues important to all children and young people. Simply fill out the form below to become a member and begin taking advantage of the many resources available from PTA.

Star Spangled PTA is a unique PTA chartered by the Texas Parent Teacher Association. The PTA expands the access of PTA membership to those who may have little or not contact with a local PTA. It is not campus-based, but state-wide. Membership is for everyone! Joining Star Spangled PTA shows your support for all children and for Texas PTA. As a member, you can speak out, inform and educate others about issues related to the education, health, safety and welfare of children. Star Spangled members meet once each year at the Texas PTA state convention. Membership is only $11.00. Each Star Spangled member will receive a membership card. For more than a 100 years, Parent Teacher Association (PTA) has provided support, information and resources to families focused on the health and education of children. The organization was founded in 1897 in Washington DC as the National Congress of Mothers by Alice McLellan Birney and Phoebe Apperson Hearst. If not for these women and their vision and determination, there would not be a PTA—an organization that has been woven into the very fabric of American life.
