The Why! Resolutions are member-proposed statements of belief that Texas PTA’s values on issues affecting children and families. Adopted by the membership, resolutions form the foundation of our advocacy work and often lead to new legislative positions, resources, or areas of focus. The What! Legislative positions reflect Texas PTA’s long-standing views on public education and family issues. They translate our resolutions into standing policy positions.
