Start dreaming up the 2027-2028 theme!
Each year, National PTA hosts an annual Reflections Theme Search Contest to select one student theme to inspire student artists in Reflections. A team of National PTA volunteers selects one winning student's theme based on originality and creativity. The winning student is awarded $100 and national recognition.

Reflections Theme Search Entry Form – Deadline to submit themes is November 5, 2025!
When suggesting a theme, judges take into consideration:
- Theme is unique, inspiring and unlike past program themes.
- Theme is focused without being too narrow or too broad.
- Theme is clear, concise and appropriate for all grade levels.
- Theme is applicable to all arts categories.
- Theme promotes PTA values.
- Theme is relevant in 2 years.
- Past themes and duplicate entries are not considered.

2025-2026 Reflections Theme
The next Reflections theme will be I Belong! The theme was submitted by Ben Morgan from Lewis and Clark Middle School PTSA in Idaho. His theme will be used to inspire hundreds of thousands of artists across the nation as they participate in the PTA Reflections art program. 2026-2027 Reflections Theme
The Reflections theme for 2026-2027 is What My Culture Means to Me. The theme was submitted by Sophia Partola from Wilton High School PTSA in Connecticut. Sophia's theme will be used to inspire hundreds of thousands of artists across the nation as they participate in the PTA Reflections art program.
